Just as the SKA is well known and respected, the ASA (American Striper Assoc.) is the "big dog" of striper fishing. Their tourneyments are called the Mercury Striper Tourney Trail. Typically using the sponsors products rewards winners with extra price $'s.
Well, "typical" isn't typical any more.
"Angler of the Year" leader is "Bunker Down" in a Yamaha powered Contender. 18 of 43 are Yamaha powered.
Division #3 standings, 3 of top 4 are Yamaha powered, including the leader. 12 of 26 are Yamaha powered.
Gotta wonder if the winners can wear their Royal Blue Yamaha Pro Caps at the awards banquet?
