mixing gases

I'm sure this has been covered before but please indulge me. Is there any concern about mixing gas containing ethanol with non-ethanol gas? I am down to 27 gallons of ethanol gas in my 23se and want now to add non-ethanol gas.

It is not generally recommended to mix the two blends.
Is there a reason why you want to do this?
