Any ideas? The motor trim guage on 23SE is showing 4 bars consistently when trimmed all the way down. Is there a way to reset? or should I be looking at a different solution? This has occurred the last few times out. Thanks

Check the arm in the back sometimes it gets stuck. If it is stuck just grease it a little. Same thing happened to mine.

check the switch
Lift OB full up position and lock in place
Look on the inside of the starboard side engine mount

I have a 02 F225 and mine broke and purchased replacement from SIM Yamaha
Current price is over $110 with shipping  POS m2cw

Brent points out the little black lever very well. Spray with WD or 6-56 and wiggle a few times to free up. This should unstick it if not broken.

On my 21 SE 150 TS, the sensor froze up and broke, and had to be replaced after two years. On my 23 SE F225, I spray it often with CRC. It is 9 years old and has 2500 hours on it and still working fine. I most likely saturate it four of five times a year.
