Mounting trolling motor on 2002 23’ dvcc

Looking for help and ideas. How long of shaft? How did u mount? Where did u put batteries and on board charger? How many volts? Pics would be great

Just finished an install on my 2005 23 DVCC.
I purchased a Rhodan 36 Volt 84" unit with a 30A NOCO charger.
Just did my first trial yesterday, its very cool.

U think .......72” would be too short?

If it’s just for the bay, probably not. If u fish the ocean u might be short in rough conditions. It is a big investment not to go for the extra $350. You certainly don’t want to say “ I should have gotten the 84”. That’s the way I looked at it. Hope it helps. I did PM u yesterday in case u wanted to see pictures
