Visited some friends this afternoon with my 2120. Water is really shallow at their place and when we left the motor would not rev up past 1300 rpm. The boat is sitting on their lift now while I try to figure out the problem. Is it possible I jammed mud into the prop and blocked the exhaust?

I did that. The engine never quit peeing, and it didn't overheat. I thought maybe it sucked mud up and blocked the thermostats. I'll check that if the exhaust looks clear.

Boat ran fine today. Didn't see any mud in the prop, I think it blew out just before I shut it down last night. It's just one more thing to watch out for in skinny water.
