I have finally had an opportunity to post a couple of pictures of the sunshade I added to my new parker 2102 Sport Cabin. I got the idea from this project section.
Because the sun is so hot in Florida, I hade the frame custom built and I had it extend over to the edge of the cockpit. Because it was larger than others shown in this section, I added the vertical support support stanchions. To remove in October for the cooler fishing season, I simply remove 4 set screws on the deck fittings and lift the whole assembly up and take it to the garage.
Since these pictures were taken I have added two rod holders on the vertical support stanchions and am looking for drink holders.
Yes I still have access to the rod holders on the cabin roof.
Very pleased with the final product. Frame cost $1,000 to have fabricated and canvas $450.
