P-Medic,

I am right up the river from you on the western dock at Yankee Landing. I will get some pictures up here when I can figure out how to size them. I have been out 5 times with 2 ground fishing days. Good results. I towed in a disabled boat with 2 adults and a 5 year old to Hampton River a week ago and got a big thank you from the Coast Guard but the 5 mile tow in rough seas ate the day. Last Sunday afternoon there were 10 foot curlers in the mouth and the CG was calling off boats exiting the river. While it was a bit tense, the Parker did a great job climbing the waves and shooting down the other side to re-enter the river. I am still trying to get comfortable with the tide/current/wind influence while docking.

See you soon.

Its fresh water cooled. 5.0 liter 230 HP Bravo 3 out drive. Parts are cheaper for sure and everthing is very easy to get to. Im very happy with it.

katmandu,
I saw your boat at the dealer the beginning of last month. Its set up nice. I was at the Yankee landing yesterday buying a light bulb and fuel stablizer. I will keep my eye out for you it would be nice to meet. Some pictures would be great. What are you hitting for fish? the mouth of the river sure does get nasty.. Stay safe my friend.. I will PM my phone number to you if you would like to call me and maybe we can meet up.

Two of us fished the curl last Sunday using bait and some jigging. We had lots of throwbacks but for keepers we took 8 cod, 1 pollack, 1 haddock, and 1 ocean pout. I ate the pout last night and it was good. I never caught one before and fried it like catfish with a nice caper and red onion tarter sauce. It was an SOB to handle and skin but worth the effort.

I can be reached any time on my web #. I can see my boat in one of your pictures.

I can see your baot also. It look like it is behind a very large boat and near Yankees launch. Nice job on the fishing sounds like good eating. Post us some pictures. Where is the curl?
