FYI:

OK, I've had it ...
I try to keep this site free and accessible, and PORN or VIAGRA free ... unless you count 'boat photos' as porn, which we DO allow.

But ... I have been having to spend at least 30-minutes per day DELETING off-topic posts and screening out alleged CP'rs, like those with ZERO posts and absolutely STUPID user IDs.

Beginning NOW ... I will DELETE any 'new' user with ANY combination of:

* Zero posts
* Un-deciferable User ID
* An email address extension like *@analfun or some other OFF-topic address

Be warned ...

I'd be happy to do it for you.I been sitting here for 5 weeks now nursing my blown up right leg with nothing to do except to stare into space :shock:

Why do you have to delete them? Shouldn't the account creation script automatically send every request to /dev/null unless you (or a designee) approve it in some configurable amount of time (like 14 days)?

Don't become a slave to the board, let the automation work for you.

If the server were running *nix, that would be correct, but it probably isn't. :(

On another board that I am a member you have to have 5 or more posts before you can do things like attach and see pictures, mainly there to keep stuff like this off the site. Might be worth a try.

Had to log in to check my post status,,I don't post much, but read almost daily, have yet to decide on a "Next" boat as this should be my last one. Torn between Parker 2310,2320 or Grady 228, I'm nearing retirement and want to make the best, most informed purchase to avoid feeling I made a wrong choice.

Great site Dale, keep up the good work.

GREAT idea - we'll look into it!

As is, with the stuff that does get through, someone actually and intentionally logs on and goes through our 'controlled' process as an alleged legit CP'r. There's nothing to stop some clown from posting 5 times - "Luv your boat!" and then on their 6th post ... displaying, errrrr, 'non-boat' porn ...

All of the boats you mentioned were in my top 4 (and also included a Steiger 23 Miami/Chesapeak)
My decision to eliminate the Grady was that it had much more stuff to care for. Lot's of little cool features, that were nice, but also would add much more cleaning and repairs as the seasons pass. The Parkers or a Steiger have very simple interiors and are therefore easier to clean and keep in good repair.
The Grady 228 or 226 ride beautifully ...you can't really go wrong either way.
Good luck.

Please let me know who has the best deal on viagra before you delete :p :lol:

Greg -

I recently spent a few days in Istanbul, Turkey. They have several massive and amazing indoor markets. One of them, the Spice Bazaar, offered its local versions of Viagra or other aphrodisiacs. I did not buy any so I cannot offer any endorsements. :lol:
