Offshore Hog Sanpper catch

My trusty 2300 CC Parker gets me 40 miles offshore for some Spearfishing action. These hogsnapper were shot 40 miles off Wilmington NC in 40 feet of water

Those are huge, we catch and shoot lots of them in the Keys but not generally that big. Nice shooting. Oh by the way, what time is dinner.

Nice catch. I understand hog snapper is one of the best tasting catches from the deep blue sea.
