I have a 2006 2501 dv with twin F225 30” shaft motors mounted on the lowest mounting hole.
Does anyone know why these hulls come with long shafts mounted so low? I’m planning to raise them but curious if anyone can explain why they are rigged like this before I go to the trouble to raise them. Cavitation plate is not visible at plane indicating they should be raised. Porpoises if it’s not trimmed all the way down.
