Paddleboard up top?

Hi all-
I have a 2540 dc- and I’m wondering if I could strap some paddleboards onto the hardtop? The fishing rod holder styke racks are so expensive and blur vision- was looking for advice as to whether folks had any experience and whether i need a “rack”, or could just strap them on the roof. Thanks!

Yes you can, I do it all of the time on my 2530. Use soft racks that way you can remove them when you’re not carrying boards.
