I am trying to paint my 2510 deck the original color. What do I use gell coat, or marine paint ? Please advice.

I just had a more aggressive non skid added to my deck. The place that did it talked me into gel coat as it will last a lot longer than paint. Being that I dont have the time or the carefullness to do it myself, I hire people to do my work. Being tha this is the case, the extra $$ for the gel coat is probably worth it.
I will say that I made a mistake with it. They tried to match the original gel coat. However, it is not perfect. I wish I picked a light brown or sand color. This contrast would have looked nice and hid the dirt in the nonskid better. Oh well, over all I am pleased
