You mentioned you had the name of a shipper when I talked to you a while ago. My boat finally sold. My question to you, or anybody else out there that's had experience shipping wide body boats across state lines is:

Do shippers charge you for every single wide load permit through all the states they're going through or do they get some sort of commercial permit valid for all? I've heard some horror stories about budget shippers leaving wide body boats on the side of the highway and never coming back for them.

What's the nearest major airport?

How are the bearings and brakes in the trailer?

Nearest major airport is Bradley in Hartford Ct or JFK in New York.

The brakes are surge brakes and they work when I tow the boat to the ramp or for service.

I have no idea about shipping, I would talk to these guys.

FYI Joeboat only ships as far as Ohio...

Serious question: What is the diffference between the 2520XL and 2530? I checked the Parker website and the specs of the two boats are practically the same except the 2530 has more deadrise and is slightly heavier. Is that the only difference? Does the 2530 have a bigger cabin or more/less cockpit space?
