I bought a decal eraser that goes on a drill. I got it from Napa auto parts. You will have the whole decal off in about five minutes.

No not at all. It won't do anything to the gelcoat. I also put new sticker on my 95 2530.

I finally replaced my damaged logo today. Windex works great for a wet install solution. Came out perfect. New decal is about 3/16" longer than the original. Not a problem.

I was on my third set of hull logos when I just decided to leave mine off.
The 'classic' logos are red underneath and black on top, so every time you wax them a layer of black comes off causing them to become unsightly over time.
I finally got tired of how the logos and the pin striping looked after going over them for so many years with a high speed buffer, so a couple of years ago I removed everything from both the hull and cabin.

At some point I might put a set of the new style logos on, but for now I'm running 'stealth'. :D
