I was wondering what kind of paint Parker uses on it's decks. I will be repainting the Gunwhales and sides of a 1990 1801 with Interlux Mediterranian White. The paint that is on the deck now is original, and does not seem slick when wet. It does not, however, appear to be a non skid in the sense that it has fine sand in it. If anyone knows of the type of paint Parker uses, I would appreciate any replies. I've used Duraback and sandy paints before on boats, and although non slip...they seem harder to keep clean. Interlux has a non-slip deck paint with a fine sand texture that I'm considering, but thought I'd ask on here first. Thanks.

If you give the factory a call at 252-728-5621 I'm sure that they would let you know what they use on their new boats.

The interior is coated with a non-glare, satin finish Parker white gelcoat. This gelcoat can be ordered through any Parker dealer.
