Piling tires?

What is the best for inside the tires? Solid pool floats? or even Sprayfoam? Looking for ideas to set up my new dock. Thank you for the help

I live on a canal with access to Charlotte Harbor, FL and use vertical piling bumpers on docks pilingsvand looking for new sea wall bumpers that not require drilling fasteners into new sea wall cap. Any pics for your situation?

not yet. I think i am going to fill the tire with spray foam and then wrap it with carpet and drill 2 holes in it and put chain threw it and tie my lines to it

What are you hitting the dock with, that a tire is not enough, a barge? Maybe just a bigger tire, or a loosely inflated innertube in the tire, drill some holes in the bead, and lace it in.

I am trying not to tie to the piling so i can have something the front cleats tie to that go up and down with the tide

Where are you located, and what is the tide range?

I took old motorcycle tires and filled them with spray foam.I tied my front lines and spring lines to it. They are working great. Now it moves up and down with the tide.
