Power trim of starboard engine engaged on it's own today, raised to full upright position, and would not cutoff without cutting power from batteries.
Visually inspected all connection's without a clue of problem.
Engine, '02 Yamaha 115 four stroke. Engines were not running.
Any thought's or troubleshooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mine keeps doing it still. I just push the buttons a few times up and down and it stops. its usually the individual trim buttons. Mine is the one in my tower

Good news I talked to my dealer today and depending on if your motors are under warranty they can fix them for free! He said the hair dryer thing will work....till next time only real way to fix it is replace the switch. He said most of the time its the ones that face up for the individual motors or the actual switch on the motor.
