Hi All,
Changed from an old lewmar windlass to a new profish 700 last year. Works great except when the anchor line to chain splice comes into windlass. It will just spin and maybe about 30% of the time will make it through. Most of the time i am going up to bow to put pressure on the arm that holds down line , then it bites and goes through.
The same splice ran perfect through my old Lewmar. Using 8 plait rode.
Any tips or suggestions?
