Having issues with my GSD 21 connected to Garmin 2210. I originally had a transom mount airmar 'ducer that recently swapped out the the plastic shoot thru P-79. Although I've experienced the same problem with both transdcuers.
Anyhow, I have a green blinking light on the GSD 21 and from the pigtail temperature probe, I also show water temp on the 2210 screen. However, I get blinking depth and basically solid red screen. I set the range down to 20' as I was only in about 6-10 feet of water but not much changed. Basically it showed the same bottom contour and for sporadic periods, a solid 6.4 feet and then it went back to blinking. :x
The P79 is in the bilge on the starboard side next to the flat pad (I think like Grouper Jim's).
Any ideas?
