Guys,
I am closing on a house that is on a lagoon. The existing owner says that he uses this electrical underwater / heater that he hangs off the dock pilings, is submerged, keeps the water moving, and therefore keeps ice away from the bulkhead and pilings. What is this product called? Where do you buy it?

Thanks,
Sal

You mean these de-icers?

See: http://www.de-icer.com/ , make sure to read their 'De-Icing 101' page.

Also, PM me, I might be able to get one drop-shipped to you for 20-40% off ...

Perfect Dale. I pm'd you. For a 50' bulkhead what size would you get?

I have some pics of the bulkhead halfway down. If you can get them cheap I am most game Captain. Make sure to build in something for your troubles though.

PS. Sure would be nice if God gave me the common sense to have googled "de-icers"
