I am thinking of changing my display I currently have a A-65 and would like to maybe upgrade to a E-80. My question is will the sounder module and GPS sensor interchange?? Thanks for any input.

What is the model number of the gps and sounder?

You might have compat. problems with the sounder for the A65 and other series.The DSM ( the little black box thingy that has the green light on it that they sounder wires hook into) is the digital part of the FF unit. I beleive this is unique the the A60 and A65 units. This helped with the price point. I think the higher level systems C, E series use a DSM300 ( $400-$600 just for sounder). The GPS antenna should work. The Raymarine site should have some tech info or call their customer service for the straight dope.
