Hey Folks, hope all had a Happy Thanksgiving...

I recently bought a 1999 Parker 18 se with a 2stroke yamaha 115.
The motor is very strong, and the boat passed its sea trial and survey with no hickups. The boat topped out at 41 mph with 3 on board into the wind with a T-Top.
I have not used it yet as it is now wrapped up for the winter..Just curious if any owners of a similar set-up can give me some real world numbers for fuel consumption and performance.

Thank you,

Scott

My numbers are far worse (WOT) and I don't have a t-top.
I have a forty gallon tank and I don't have a way of guestimating consumption.

Congrat on the boat though you're going to love it.
This was my first season with her.

If you check old threads there is one about the 18 cc and I believe its called..."How fast is your Ride"

Weather: Heavy Rain
Wind: 15-20 kts
Temperature: 70 F
Sea State: Choppy
DETAILS:
The speed readings below were taken from the onboard GPS.
SPEED DATA:
RPM MPH
4400 30
5800 40

My bad, the boat actually topped out @ 40
Not sure of what model/specs of the prop, but I am more concerned with keeping the boat as fuel efficient as possible. I know for the sea trial the boat probably had 10 gallons of gas in it, the tank is a 60 gallon.
Oh well, cant wait for the spring to get her bloody.

THX for the replies,

Scott
