I have been trying to catch a redfish for several years. I have made multiple charter trips to LA, TX, and FL, but always came up empty. Yesterday, I did some kayak fishing in Virginia Beach, VA. My drought ended with 7 nice redfish from 19" to 27". I fought another one that was even stronger than all the ones I caught - after tightening down the drag, the fish pulled my kayak more than 50 ft, and wrapped the line around a dock piling to break the line.
Although I was not fishing in a Parker, I did wear my Parker ball cap -- it shows in the photos.
