Hi guys.

Just wondering if anyone has actually attempted to or removed all of the cabin carpet lining on the sides and ceiling? I'm actually considering it. I don't really like the carpet and hate cleaning it.

If so, is it gel coated underneath? Any ideas on how to remove the residual adhesive?

Thanks!

Have a 1998 2520 SC - no carpet and love it.
Just hose it out, wipe it down and done.
However, we don't live in a humid place. Carpet might mitigate some of the sweat that humidity can cause.
Pulling existing carpet is going to mean glue, remover, sanding, etc.
You might start with a patch that you can replace if it goes badly.
