Replacing beckson screens in port holes

I just ordered Beckson screen replacements and was wondering if I have to take the gasket out in order to replace the screens. At first glance that looks like that’s the case.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but is it hard to remove the gasket? Isn’t it glued in there? If so, what glue should I use to reinsert the gasket after replacing the screen.

Please let me know the procedure you used if you’ve replaced your port screens and forgive my ignorance.

It’s a 2011 Parker 2320. They are beckson replacement screens.

It looks like I have to take the gasket off and put it back in. Have any of you attempted to install a gasket in the port hole? Any tips?

It is not glued. Removed by hand. Beckson has installation info online
