What is the proper way to remove a seacock valve? I discovered the ball valve on mine is not turning with the handle so i need to replace it however, it doesn't look like the flange is a separate piece, it appears to be 1 piece. Any thoughts? Do I need a step wrench?

i replaced mine on my 2320 and I vaguely remember having some difficulty. The seacock was integral with the thru hull. I think someone told me to put some hot water on it and that was the trick which loosened it up. I didnt want to loosen it up with a torch because it was an enclosed space with gas lines.
