I bought a Parker 1800 with an electric trolling motor on it. It is powered by two deep cycle 12 volt batteries, in a serial configuration located in the center console. The trolling motor is mounted on the bow. They now charging from a land-line charger because they are not hooked up to the boat's electrical system.
The boat is powered by a Yamaha 130. Both are 1998.
Can the Yamaha electrical system charge the trolling motor batteries with the correct wiring configuration? If it can, what is the best way to wire it?
There is a battery switch in the battery compartment to start from.
Thanks.
