Have my new 2120 SC docked in Amelia Island Florida. I am a displaced New England Striper Fisherman. Received my boat from the factory about 4 weeks ago. Unfortunately it is shark mating season here, or so they tell me. Every piece of bait gets consumed by a shark, mostly Lemon Sharks in the. 3-4 ft range. Gave up bait fishing and started trolling. Sharks like the lures as much as the bait. Much harder to retrieve a lure than cutting off a hook.
Truly frustrated. Heading to the Cape Cod tomorrow to fish with my son. Looking forward to getting away from the sharks.
