I finally got out last Sunday to fish for a bit. Went out to the mob of boats in middle horseshoe and was catching nothing for about 1 hour drifting for bass with frozen squid in about 90 ft of water.
It didn't look like much was happening for anyone else either. So I started towards PV and saw lots of birds about half way there. Macks were everywhere so I threw a little cleo spoon and trolled for a bit...I was catching a 12" - 15" mack every minute. I kept a couple and started trolling with the mack as bait. I caught a nice 36" baracuda and lost something larger that I never got to see.
There was a huge school of dolphins passing through...beautiful day.
