Considering the purchase of a bottom painted Parker. I would want to get the paint off and assume the best way is soda blasting. My question is, what do you end up with in the way of finished product? How does it look? Any pics would be very appreciated.

Yea....When you blast, it makes a good surface to repaint. It leaves a Micro Golf ball affect on the surface. This is NOT conducive to a shine. But is Conducive to repainting.

Some will say Blast it and paint with a hard finish like Vivid. I didn't want that.

I got a price from Atlantic for my 2120 however I think it is better if you are thinking of repainting.

You can also consider walnut shell or pecan shell blasting. I have no personal experience with the process, but I understand its less traumatic than soda blasting.
