With the bottom paint building up over the years we decided to get it soda blasted, new barrier coat and paint. Jersey Coast Soda Blasting in Cape May has an indoor shop so he was able to keep the boat inside and knock this out for us over the past couple weeks Certainly will make spring prep much easier and AJ did a great job! Plus the boat was nice and warm in a shed for a couple weeks during this bad weather.

He stripped it down, applied 4 coats of Barrier coat, black indicator coat and 2 coats of blue,

That's the ONLY way to strip a bottom. I had my 2520 done 2 years ago. Chemical strippers, sanders, dislocted shoulders, and sore knees, forgetaboutit!
