Solas Brand Props

Has anyone ever used this brand propeller? Solas? , or are all propeller manufacturer created about equal. It's a SS prop I am talking about... :roll:

I'm a prop junkie.

I just bought a Solas 4 blade aluminum prop for my 115 E-Tec. It is considerably cheaper than similar propellers and although I haven't tried it yet, it appears to be no different than the the more expensive props in both looks and feel.

I have heard a rumor that Solas makes the new E-tec stainless Rebel prop and it however does not have the same regular consistent finish as it's Viper cousin (presumably from a different maker).

I should be able to report on the aluminum Solas in a week or so.

Yeah, thanks for the reply. They look OK to me also. I was looking at a 15 1/4 x 17 which is what my boat uses and can get it at a reasonable price. Would look foward to your review when you get to it... 8)
