speed through water unit

considering adding a sailing-type paddle wheel and guage for trolling (primarily for striped bass.) I only need it only to read up to about 5knots. Would prefer to be able to make minor adjustments to speed through water. Anyone have any suggestions on a good unit.

Jim said that is the way to go in an email. I have been out of town and hadnt had a chance to talk to him about it.

I was wondering if there was a sailing unit that gave a more accurate reading with smaller incriments at slower speeds.
