I picked up my boat from the marina last year and she was ready to go. This year I had someone else winterize and shrinkwrap her.

When the spring rolls around how do I start her up again after changing the Racor and reconnecting the batteries. Do I just fuel her up and go?
Is a spark plug change in order and if so how do I select the right ones (ie gaps)?

FWIW I leave on the OLD Racor and old plugs and will replace both before my 2nd day of the new season. I'd rather blow 'old' fuel through the Racor and burn off the fogging oil et al on the old plugs too.

OBs are sometimes marked with the proper gap, and the OEM plug manuals you see at the stores list the required gap. I buy my plugs at Autozone for $2 while the local dealer gets $5-6 each. I do support him and buy OB-brand-specific items from them ... but plugs? Nope ...
