I was just told by a yamaha dealer that he is no longer recommending putting Stratron in the fuel tanks.

He feels it causes other problems (e.g. fuel injection cloggs).

Anybody hear the same thing?

... sounds to me like he's blaming Startron for the effects ethanol fuels leaves with motors, specially Yamahas.

Dale is write ethanol is tuff on Yamahas. Startron is good stuff.I have a friend that rents boats he was having all kinds of problems with the ethanol.
All of them yamahas after using startron he has had almost none.I was having some issues with both of my 150 hpdis vst filters that was around 200 hrs after startron all is well .I now have 650 hrs on both. Keeping your tank full of gas also helps.
