Hi guys. I’m building a bench seat on top of the two seat bases...I’ll put the cushion on a board and continue to the front wall.
if I cut a hole in the front “wall”, I could easily continue the bench forward to the bow inside the cuddy. That would make great elevated storage for life jackets, survival suits. (It also lets someone lay down and put their legs thru the wall) I want to keep as much off of the cuddy cushions in case someone wants to use it.
is cutting a hole like this going to jeopardize the integrity at all?
Taking the door off of the bases makes them far more practical(I hope I’m not overlooking anything). I made a “floor” for the top hole (not shown). Thanks for any thoughts
