Timing is everything ... and right now, the timing is very poor :( ...

300 hp HPDI and the F250 4-stroke... either one for $13k
Gotta go check my money tree to see if it has bloomed yet. :(

Wonder if I can convince the admiral my scratched motor cover can only be repaired at Ed's for $13,000.

That's a heck of a deal on a F-250 Yamaha.

They evey got a new 225 OX66. Wonder what the chances are I could find another new leftover???

Wow. I wonder how much it is to rig a Zuke 225 or 250 and how much I could get for my Opti. I could get some peace and quiet while striper trolling  (oops did I say that :D ) 6 year warranty as well :!:

(I would have to give up my trusted dealer though)

Ed's stocks new Yamaha 225 OX-66 for $8,000.

That's actually not a bad idea Greg. Go with the 250. :)
The glitter boat boyz would snap up that 225 Opti in a heartbeat.

The glitter boys wouldnt want it. Mine isnt used to being run hard. It only has less than 10 min at WOT. (With probably 100hours around 4000rpms and 200 hours at idle :? )

Besides there needs to be one lone Merc guy on CP. If not who is going to give Fishfactory a hard time :p

If you are mechanical enough to change your water pump, you are capable of rigging the motor yourself. I got F'ing screwed I paid 15K for a Zuke 250 at Eds last fall. At the time iwas the best deal going though.

Buy the guages and prop from brownspoint... all that with a manual was about 1350..

It is probably about a 4-6 hour job total.
