Throttle creeps back

Hello Gents,
When I am at cruise and bump the power a little my throttle always seems to creep back to cruise. Is there something I need to adjust or is a normal occurrence?

Binnacle is the box which your throttle handle is attached

Pull the cover off the box and there are adjustment screws. Google the model for a manual

Sometimes there will be a small rod with a flat head notch for flathead screwdriver on the front side of the binnacle...usually towards the bottom...below where your throttle would be at wide open. Anyway, that sets the tension of the throttle and perhaps you may need to stiffen it up (add resistance) a bit. Check and try that before you take the cover off.

Who makes the binnacle amd model number? Or post a pic. Easy fix. I suggested removing the cover to inspect the mechanism and some are adjusted with cover off.
