Tilt Helm for Second Station?

What do you guys think about a tilt helm for a bulkhead mounted second station? Would there be any advantages or drawbacks? Do those helms protrude through the rear more than a standard? With a 13 inch wheel would there be any problems?

I can't see any advantage whatsoever IMHO ... so I can't comment on your other points.
