Too many wires off the battery?

I have a 2520 with a single outboard. When I put the batteries back on board at the end of winter, I missed four wires that run the windshield wipers, windlass, and two more things.

When I attached the wires to the battery it looked like a wire mess. Is there a device that lets me attach things that must be attached directly to the battery without attaching directly to the battery?

Here's one example of a battery direct connector if you still want the wires nearby, it has hidden terminals. See this one from West Marine site, http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/st ... artial/0/0.

Or you can add on to terminal strips at your instrument panel depending on what your wires are used for.

You just have to love this site...someone has probably fixed/modified/done what you want to do, and has already uploaded pics of it.

Thanks, guys. The separate attachment point will remind me that there are more wires down there. The anti-corrosion feature is an added plus.

The pictures were a big help. My next goal is to figure out how to post a picture, myself.
