1995 parker 2520 that is in need of a topside cleaning and waxing. whats the proper procedure to do so? and whats the best cleaners and waxes to get the job done?

On a 12 year old boat, I imagine you have some gelcoat oxidation. So, I would HIGHLY recommend a product called "aqua buff 2000". Use this product exactly as the directions state: low rpm on a buffer (2200rpm). Then, I like Collonite 845 paste wax applied. Probably two coats: again, low speed then hand polish with terrycloth. This should give you excellent results.

For metal bright work, I like either "alumaguard" or "woody wax". Again, follow the instructions on the package.
For nonskid, I like either woody wax or Starbright deck cleaner with PTEF.

Post some pics so we can see what level of care you are describing.
