Really wanted to try lifting my motor on my 2320 up a hole, but wasn't quite sure how to go about it until Dale provided the brilliant idea of using the trailer jack to provide the muscle to lift it. Works like a champ! A little scarey, but really simple and effective. Thanks Dale. Love this forum.

Result - boat seems to come up on plane quicker.

Thanks!

That is great news but why does parker keep mounting motors too low. I thought one of the advantages of them not giving engine choices was so that they came mounted properly with the correct prop.

Greek & Roman era leverage works slick! I moved a 17' boat and motor that was on the hard onto a trailer by myself the other week, just using such leverage and taught the guys at the boatyard (with a mega-pound capacity travel lift) a thing or two!

Glad it worked for you :D !
