Urge for an Edson Power Wheel

I have the urge for one, with the built in power knob, to replace the standard issue Parker wheel on my 2008 2100CC. The boat is under plastic wraps, so...is there anything I have to know before ordering the wheel? Is it a keyway shaft? What size shaft? Anyone do this?

Does it have to be an edson Boaters World has a Schmitt wheel with power knob for about 200 inc the center bolt. theres no key on a seastar helm.

No, a Schmitt is fine...thought they were the same price. So, I just need to know the SeaStar shaft size? Happen to know that?

I added the Edson PowerKnob a few months ago and love it!
Great for docking and manuevering.

Same here...I installed a bolt-on Edson (I think) suicide knob. Works great up against the pilings of the CBBT.
