Probably a dumb question to some of you.

I use a dewalt soft start 7”/9” buffer.

Which pad would you recommend for applying wax with my dewalt?

I’ve been using the 3m wax and applying the wax by hand with an applicator.

I don't use the buffer for waxing. "Wax on, wax off" by hand. Compounding and polishing I use a wool pad on the buffer.

I usually use Collinite hull cleaner, which is a light grit compound. I pour some on a foam pad and use the buffer. Then I wipe it off with a rag. Wax I apply by hand, use a wool pad to buff and finish off by hand.

I typically put 2 coats on in the late spring time.

Fall when I’m putting it away for the year, 1 coat.
