Any suggestions of brand/type. Getting tired of doing it by hand. Thanks for the feedback.

I used to use one like this on my old boat, as it needed more Ummppphhh behind the polishing. It is also good for older glass which is pretty oxidized, using polishing or rubbing compound.

Sears - $50, 2-speed polisher:

I now use a 10" orbital random polisher like this, an 'el cheapo' from Harbor Freight for ~$20.

FYI - I might try Rejex polish this year, as TomS and other fishing friends had great shine with it last season! See: http://corrosionxproducts.com/rejexpage.htm

... never heard of Rejex..tell me more. where did you get it and is it better than collinate 925?
I don't know if it's better ... but friends who use to use Collenite love it as it is faster to apply and has a much higher gloss and sheen. Maybe they like it better as it lasts for the entire far-too-short New England boating season. We're lucky to get in by mid-April and then all docks and ramps are pulled by 1st week of November due to threats of hurricanes.

I never used it before ... so I'll let you know after this season!

Me?

I use a College Kid. Not always as reliable as a Porter Cable, but they can also be used to scrub decks.

Meguiar's 3-part fiberglass restoration system applied to a '93 hull with a run of the mill Craftsman 2-speed 6" grinder/polisher.
