i have a 2310 2001 that has a well between helm seats, what is a good use for it? it gets water from rain in it does'n drain completly, is difficult to clean as a fish cooler, gets wet for life jackets,not dry storage for any thing, not handy as a cooler, keep boat bumpers in it seems a waste of space any sug.? says in brochure insulated fish box, but it ain't all that great. had a 91 2310 with flush deck seemed a better design. tinmantoo bel air

fenders and a spare anchor and line in mine but have to dry them out often. The drain is forward but the boat is always slightly down by the stern so the locker never completely drains.

I have the same set up on my 2110. I use at either a cooler or if we are fishing a fish box. Seems to hold ice for a long time. Mine never drains completely either. Because it don't drain I pour some antifreeze in there for the winter.
