A good friend (non computer type) has looked a boat and asked me what I knew about it. Serial number is TXP21358F88 (the T could be a P?). He has been told it has a new deck and fuel tank and the transom has been modified for a SS bracket. He thinks the hull is a 21' Parker; can anyone tell me what it is (spec's, etc.) and post a picture of one ?

Serial number is TXP21358F88 (the T could be a P?).

See below, the USCG Hull Identification Number (HIN) database, see: http://uscgboating.org/recalls/mic_database.htm , lists both a 'txp' and 'pxp' manufacturer.

One thing for certain, the boat is an '88 model.

Note how many companies named 'Parker' there are ...

New information from my friend says the hull id number is actually PMX21358F88. Apparently, the rest of the info in my initial post is good as-is. Any info and or opinions on this model would be appreciated.

If it's PXM, that would be Parker Marine Ent.
1988 model might make it a Parker Sou`wester.
