Where do you store your rods when trailering?

As the title says... On the water they go on the Gunnel or launcher but once on the trailer, where on the boat do you have them since the gunwal ones are useless
 
For long trips, I store mine in a tube and just lay them in cockpit bungeed to something to keep them from rolling around. Reels are in a boat bag in cabin or back of truck. Short local trips I have a rack mounted in back of truck.
 
short trip just somewhere they won’t slide around / get damaged. some get stuck in the gunwal and lean post rod holders (nothing up top / rocket launchers for clearance issues as i have learned the hard way). some in the under gunwal rod rack. some even just lay flat on the deck.

for longer / highway trips the boat gets pretty stripped down for the higher speeds. rods, reels, tackle, gear will go in the truck back seat or covered bed.
