Windshield wiper motor

Hi all
Need some advice. The motors on my wipers are afi 2000 made in the usa. The new afi 1.5 is same according to Marinco. However, one motor I replaced lasted a couple of months, other one DOA and last one burned out immediately.
Voltage is good, these are now made in China and I think are junk.
The afi 1000 are available online USA made but Marinco says half the torque.
Only other option is Ongaro wiper motors anyone have experience with Ongaro motor in relation to AFI 2000.
Any help appreciated

M2cw my wiper units were removed years ago and use Rain X a lot.

I don’t think AFI are dependable.
