Yamaha blue fuel/water seperator

Hey guys. I was wondering about my fuel/water seperator filter. My boat came rigged with the blue Yamaha filter. Works great so far, but the only downside is that it does not have a clear drainable bowl like the Racor. If I buy a Racor filter with the clear bowl, can I just spin it on or do I need a new housing too?

Racors go by thread sizes ...

When my boating neighbor with a Parker replaced his OEM Yummie f/s closed element can, he used the Racor S3213 element with the clear see-thru bwol added to it.

Dale has it. I use both the Yammie and Racor elements interchangeably. :wink:
